I'm baaaaaack...

Hello again my dear puppyhuggers.  I know, I know... your fearless, brilliant leader has been away.  Have all of you been good puppyhuggers while I was out?  I doubt it...

I was on vacation for 10 days so my posting was severly limited.  Honestly, I just wasn't focusing on it but now I'm back, if you'll have me.   I know we haven't been as close in the past few weeks as we were before but I promise to make it up to you with loads of puppy pics and brilliant tales.  Teehee... puppies, tales (tails).  Am I the only one laughing here?  Okay... anyway....

This weekend, Alli and I went to see TransAmerica.  If you haven't seen it, please do so.  I was expecting a somber dramatic film about trans gender people but it was actually not that heavy... There were some dramatic moments which were brilliantly acted by Felicity Huffman.  Yet, the film had some funny, touching moments that made you laugh out loud.  After seeing the film, I changed my mind about who I thought was the most deserving in the "Best Actress" Oscar category.  It should go to Felicity Huffman for this performance.  I know, I know... what about Reese?!  I love her, I really do.  Yet, her performance left something to be desired, in my humble opinion.  Felicity nailed it.  She was fantastic, convincing and over all much more well rounded in her performance.  Two cheers for Felicity!

Puppy Bowl II

Before you sit down to watch ginormous men battle it out on the field in Super Bowl XL (that's 40, for all of you unroman numeral knowing folk, be sure to turn on Animal Planet to watch Puppy Bowl II.  It's on from 12 -3 pm...  that's 3 full hours of puppies on the "field"!!  You'll overdose on cuteness and go into the Super Bowl with a smile on your face.  Don't say I didn't warn you...  woof!

A quick rundown of Thursday...

Do you ever say to yourself "What did Lisa do to you today?"?  Yeah, I didn't think so...  It's probably best not to ask yourself that question.  In hopes of keeping your mind free from such time consuming pondering, I thought I'd answer it for you by giving you a rundown of my day.  Here goes...

1. Woke up @ 6:30 am to go to gym
2. Ran 3 miles while listening to my iPod and watching TV
3. Forgot my keycard @ work so I had to bum a ride up the elevator with an unknown person
4. Went to meetings
5. Chatted on the phone with Vince  (Ello, sweet'art!)
6. Worked on some, well, work (this takes up a big chuck of my day)
7. Packed up boxes at work for my cube move this weekend
8. Downloaded some songs to my iTunes
9. Went home

See, I told you it wasn't that exciting.  ;-) I'd rather be at the beach playing in the sand.  I'm suppose to meet some friends out for Happy Hour tonight but honestly, I'm just too tired.  Plus, I have a dentist appointment in the morning so I need to be up bright and early to get my chompers cleaned and prettied up.   It's almost Friday, puppyhuggers!  Woohooo!  Got any big plans for the weekend?  Are you watching the Super Bowl?  If not... you should be!
