It's almost the new year in...

Puppy_snow_1 London!  I wanted to end this year with one last post.  It's raining heavily outside and I'm sitting in my bedroom with no light on, reading thru my life of the past few months.  I just wanted to say for what it's worth, it's been an amazing year.  I've done things I never thought I would do, felt things I never thought I could feel and met people that would change my life forever.  In closing, I really want to wish all of my puppyhugging friends the same happiness in 2006 that I have experienced.

Stay dry... stay warm...stay safe...stay happy.

2005 has had it's ups and downs but ultimately, I think you have to ask yourself if you've found happiness in whatever it is you are doing.  My answer:  Absolutely.  Damn right I have....  :)  I can't imagine being any happier than I am right now.  I can't wait to see what 2006 has in store for us.

My excitement.

Love So many things have been on my mind lately.  Ordinarly, I'd be worried about things that I need not worry about long before I actually had something to worry about.  I do that sometimes...  worry before I have to.  But you know what...  lately, recently, I don't do it anymore.  At least, not as much.  I sort of sit back, look at the whole picture and try to just let it go.  Everything will work itself out because things always do work themselves out.  Such is life...   Patience.  Time.  Understanding.  It's nice to be able to let things go and realize that everything will work itself out the way it is suppose to...no matter how much I worry or don't worry.  So you know that leaves me with...  time to smile and be happy.

Do you know what I'm thinking about right this very moment?  Give you a hint:

2.13.06

And you know what I'm doing... smiling.  :)

Sweet dreams, puppyhuggers.  XXOO.

More 2006 music news...

PeteSo far, 2006 is looking to be a stellar year for music and the latest bit of news completely seals it:

"English rock veterans The Who will return to the stage next year following "a very, very cool" surprise announcement in June, according to guitarist Pete Townshend".

Brilliant.  I've never seen The Who live but I'm crossing my fingers that they make a quick stop in LA so I can enoy the music of one of the greatest bands, ever.

XXXXOOOOOXXXXOOO.

2006 is going to ROCK!

Muse With my list of "Things to look foward to in 2006" growing, I'm able to add another exciting mention to hugapuppy today!  NME is reporting that Muse will release their follow up to "Absolution" in Spring 2006.  It's been much too long since their last album and I'm really looking forward to seeing the progression of this amazing band.  If you haven't done so, go pick up all of their CDs and give your ears a belated Christmas present.  I promise they'll thank you in the morning...

British men and their love..

Puppy_love What a lovely relaxing Christmas weekend I have had.  Spent time with friends and family, nibbled on chocolate, watching football, listened to great music and even cleaned a bit to get ready for my move.

Anywho, in the midst of my relaxation, I found this fantastic article:

British man on his hands and knees for love

All I can say it... wear some knee pads.  I've heard that love will make you crawl but I never thought it would happen in the literal sense.  It's nice to see someone's dedication to love who wants to spread that word that the Christmas season can be lonely for some people.  Mucho puppyhugs to that man!  I hope he finds his love, soon.

Merry Christmas!

Just a quick post to wish all of my family & friends a Merry Christmas.  I hope you had a wonderful day and that the rest of the year is happy and healthy for you.  XOXOXOOX.

It's the most wonderful time... of the year!

Mmmmm_sleepy_christmas I  wanted to wish lots of love and happiness to all of my puppyhugging readers during the holiday season.  Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!  It's been an amazing year -- too many wonderful things have happened to list them all here.  I've been to some beautiful places around the world, enjoyed wonderful moments with amazing friends and had my heart warmed like I never would have imagined:

Maui was warm and perfect.  Houston was muggy and hot.  NY in June was mild.  Oregon was refreshing and relaxing.  NY in December was cold and awesome and the best time I've ever had.

I wish you all a happy and peaceful 2006.

When you care enough to send the very best...

...after you've sent the very worst... (props to julie for that one)

Had unprotected sex, got an STD and can't face up to the fact that you may have infected your partner?  This website will allow you to send an anonymous email to that person letting them know... Ooops, sorry.  I got you dirty and infected.  Get yourself checked out for [insert your favorite STD here].  I guess Hallmark doesn't make a card for this occassion so leave it up to the WWW to do it for you... inSPOT STD E-card

In my opinion, this is just awful.  I can see a ton of people sending these emails as a joke when it's really not that funny at all.  We here at hugapuppy say this: GET A PAIR.  If you think you have something, get tested.  If you think you infected someone, step up and let them know in person.  Give them a call, talk to them face to face but DONT send an anonymous email.  That's just classless and rude.
